Writing and Rhetoric II Three credits. Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30–10:45 a.m. Room 214.
Prerequisite: ENG 1110 or placement. Fulfils the second-year written communication requirement. Required for all majors in the college. Enrolment capacity 24; enrolled 24; waitlisted 11.
Course description: Continued instruction in argument, research and revision. Students will produce four essays totalling approximately 6,000 words, each workshopped in draft and revised after individual conference. Weekly response papers. Attendance at two writing centre sessions required.
